Well, the release date for God of War III is bound to be confirmed at E3 in June this year. Bound to be. But from the look of Sony's job advertising, we could have to wait until April next year to see it.
Either that or whoever is going to be employed at the GOW team in Santa Monica as an Assistant Producer might be disappointed when they get the job.
An advertisement for the position of 'Assistant Producer (Temporary Position)' went up went up on the 21st. It reads - in part - as follows:
"Join the God of War team!
"NOTE: THE DURATION OF THE ASSIGNMENT CAN NOT EXCEED 12 MONTHS!!"
The strange thing here, however, is that while the direct GOW team message doesn't appear on the official Sony job advertisement, it does appear in the ad as posted on the Gamasutra Jobseekers pages.
Of course, it could have nothing to do with GOW III... or it might be related to GOW III DLC, we'll keep our scouts out.
