Yasuda Tetsuhiko, president of SCE Asia and Hong Kong has once again confirmed that Sony has no plans to cut the price of the PlayStation 3.
Speaking in a press briefing this week he is quoted by
Cnet Asia as saying that "the company has no intention to revise the console's pricing at the moment".
This follows a Nintendo briefing by its president, Saturo Iwata, that Nintendo doesn't see the Wii has a cheap product, and despite the current downturn in its fortunes in Japan, there will be no price cut for the console.
