Nintendo is taking Pokémon Platinum on tour. Specifically, the Search for Giratina tour, which is doing the rounds of various GAME stores over the next couple of weeks.
So what, exactly, does this mean for the Pokémon faithful? For starters, a free (exclusive) Pokémon Platinum Giratina Origin Forme figure is being given to customers who pre-order Platinum at GAME.
For the main course, players will be able to download Shaymin, a self curing Pokémon, to Pokémon Diamond or Pearl if they attend a participating GAME on the right day.
For desert, there will be family-friendly, wholesome fun such as face painting and balloon modelling, as well as there being Pokémon in attendance.
To wash all that down, there will be a prize draw with goodies including (according to Nintendo), "ten Ł50 GAME gift cards, a year’s supply of Pokémon trading cards or one of 12 sets of Pokémon collectors’ tins."
