Sony's controversial 4Gb PlayStation is about to hit UK retail - tomorrow in fact.
So, what are you going to be seeing as you wander the halls of your glorious local emporium of video gaming? The picture on the right is the most recent packshot for the 40Gb unit. As you can see, there is certainly nothing outstanding about the packaging.
One thing that is outstanding is that - despite some information floating around the Internet that packs would be emblazoned with "Not PS2 Compatible" - for the life of us we can't see any indication.

If they are clearly marked that's fine then. The Blu Ray newbs can bag this as their core version. Will the customer bite though?

Well all I can say is good that I own the 60gb version, secondly I can see many 60gb versions appearing on ebay once they have all sold out in the shops and online stores.
So once all 60gb's have gone and Sony don't announce a newer model then those with 60gb's will have the top version and will be worth a lot of money.
