There's a German term for taking pleasure in other people's misfortunes. It's called 'schadenfreude'. SPOnG was reminded of it this morning when we heard that SCEA boss, Jack Tretton has wished departing Microsoft gaming VP Peter Moore ‘the best of luck’ in his new role at Electronic Arts.
“[We] look forward to working with him," Tretton said, adding, "We have an outstanding relationship with EA and their sports products have been incredibly successful on all our platforms. I am sure this will continue with Peter now at the helm."
SPOnG informed you earlier that Moore has defected from his role as corporate vice president of Microsoft's interactive entertainment division to join EA.
