God of War PSP: First Trailer!

Kratos flicks his chains on the small screen

Posted by Staff
The first trailer for God of War: Chains of Olympus has emerged kicking and screaming into the world.

The trailer was buried deep in the heart of the mysterious Island of Rhodes promotional website. It doesn't give too much away, but it certainly looks spiffy.

Details remain sparse on the upcoming game, with Sony's lips remaining tightly sealed. What is known, thanks to the game's director Cory Barlog and a few beers, is that the game is not a port of God of War or its sequel. Rather, it will compliment and flesh out the mythos established across the first two games and the upcoming (though not officially announced) God of War 3.

UK gamers have plenty to look forward to as we await more bean-spillage, with God of War II on the PS2 hitting European retail on Friday.

Looks mighty good, I'd buy this. Well done Sony.

Devil May Cry is down to Capcom to sort out, not sure if its still coming to PSP.

This is Kratos! He smashes crates and pushes huge blocks of stone!

I get your point though, arranging the jigsaw stone blocks in the first game was tedious in the extreme.

Cory Barlog is not the game's Director. The game is being developed entirely by Ready At Dawn Studios.
