Namco of Japan has announced that it will be releasing twelve new titles for the PlayStation 2. The news comes in spite of Namco’s recent financial difficulties which saw the company post heavy losses for this fiscal year. The main reason for the losses, the worst in the company’s history, was attributed to poor sales of its PlayStation 2 games.
The new games announced are:
Tekken 4
Soul Caliber 2
Ace Combat 4
Tennis Game
Baseball Game
Soccer Game
Vampire Night
Tales of X
Mr. Driller New Work
New Ridge Racer
New Moto GP
New RPG from Namco’s subsidiary Monolith
Unfortunately there are no details on Ridge Racer, Tekken 4, Soul Calibur 2 and Vampire Night. We can expect more info after the Tokyo Game Show, which takes place on the 30th and 31st of March.
