There are rumours abound that Namco is about to throw its weight behind GameCube development.
The rumours have sprung from Namco blaming poor PlayStation 2 sales for its £55 million loss for this financial year.
It has been alleged that Ridge Racer and Tekken Tag Tournament are in development at Namco’s Tokyo studios and will be ready for the Japanese launch of the GameCube this July. It would also explain why Namco has reported such massive losses.
