The London-based Science Museum has announced details of the last wave of its Game On evening events. The video games exhibition will play host to gaming insiders who will be offering up some rare insights into the inner workings of the industry.
The topics will range in scope from the history of games development to the fine detail of graphics rendering.
Specifically, the line-up looks like this: Margaret Robertson of Edge magazine heads things up on January 16th with "Why We Play Games". Dr Chris Doran from Geomerics follows her with "Video Games: Look of the future" on January 22nd. Next up is "Games Gone By: A history of video games" on February 2nd with a host of speakers from the International Game Developers Association. Finally "Building a Computer Game" will be hosted by Jonathan Smith of TT Games (the guys behind the excellent Lego Star Wars) on February 6th.

The events will all kick off at 7pm and cost you £7 to get in. If you're one of those ‘privileged’ gamers who lives in the heart of the gaming universe (that London) go check it out and let us know how it goes in the Forum.

So far it's offered up a poke around the heads of key industry figures such as Eidos' Ian Livingstone and legendary programmer David Braben. On the hardware front it gave us an early crack at the Wii and PS3 for Joe Public and some gaming technology from the future to play with.
