Drugs, jazz, corruption - La La Land Remembered

LA Noire: First Trailer
As promised in the recent teaser, Rockstar and Team Bondi have today released this rather interesting full length trailer for LA Noire, their Playstation 3 homage to all things cool about Los Angeles in the 1940s.

Check it our right here:
MPEG4 XviD (18.0MB)
Quicktime (22.4MB)
Windows Media (17.7MB)

Of course, it’s merely a cinematic and not actual gameplay, but it does give a good idea as to what’s in store. It’s one of the more interesting and innovative PS3 titles in development right now, so we’ll be keeping a close eye on this.

We especially like the "post-war backdrop of corruption, drugs and jazz", which is how we like to remember those heady days of E3. Oh, how we’ll miss them.

We've contacted Rockstar to find out more about the background to LA Noire, which is being developed by The Getaway fella, Brendan McNamara, so we’ll be bringing you more info on this in the very near future.

Watching that LA Noire trailer, I have to say it does look cool. If CCE is anything to go by, that and LA Noire are gonna put Rockstar back on the gaming map again. So nice to see them breaking from their GTA shackles at last. Bravo.
