Just three months after reporting 25 million downloads from Xbox Live Marketplace, Microsoft is already gleefully announcing that the next big milestone has been reached. A brain-boggling 50 million game demos, movie trailers, music videos and of course Xbox Live Arcade titles have now been downloaded from the online service.
As we reported earlier this week, Capcom's Street Fighter 2 became the fastest selling XBLA title, and MS's own Texas Hold 'em poker game sold like hot cakes during the 48 hours it was offered for free.
Microsoft reckon that the majority - 60% - of 360 owners use the online range of services, with more than 2 billion hours being clocked up since the original Xbox Live launched nearly four years ago.
