Summary

Capcom’s latest update to their celebrated family of 2D fighting games is to be Capcom Fighting Jam. Like the previous outing ‘Capcom vs SNK 2’, Jam aims to include as many popular Capcom fighting characters as possible, and features fighters from Street Fighter II, III and Alpha, as well as Darkstalkers and Red Earth. In CVS2 each character could choose from one of six fighting styles, or grooves, each based on a different game’s fighting system. Now each character included in the game can use only the fighting style from the title they are taken from. The idea is that the fighting style will also become a tactical factor depending on whom you are pitched against, and players will have to select their teams for the game's two-on-two battles carefully. The game features the six-button control layout that has become Capcom’s trademark, and all the game modes that have come to be expected in previous iterations: Arcade, Vs, Survival and Training, as well as a gallery to view unlocked artwork and a replay save feature. Characters include: Ryu, Guile, Demitri, Felicia, Yun, Chun-Li, Leo, Hauser, Guy and Sakura.
