Argonaut is at the forefront of the games development industry where they are respected as one of the premier independent game developers in the world. With technologies, like the Super FX chip and numerous hit games which have sold more than a million copies including; Starfox, Stunt Race FX, Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, Croc 2: Kingdom Of The Gobbos, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on PS one.
Argonaut is at the vanguard of new technologies with development for current and future mass-market platforms such as PC, PlayStation 2, XBox, Nintendo Game Cube and Game Boy Advance. Their pedigree is recognized by the top-flight companies that have published their products: companies like Sega, Nintendo, Koei, Mitsui, Ubi Soft, 20th Century Fox, Disney, LEGO and Electronic Arts.
Argonaut's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1984 title, "Skyline Attack" (C64).
The company has been involved titles released on the PC, PS2, PSP, Xbox, GameCube, GBA, PlayStation, Game Boy Color, Dreamcast, N64, Game Boy, Saturn, SNES, Amiga, ST, Konix, C64, Spectrum 48K and Sinclair Spectrum 128K. Of these, "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" (PlayStation) and "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" (PlayStation) have been best selling titles.
The company's most recent involvement was on the 2005 release "Zero Hour" (PSP).
