Mad Catz Signs European Distribution Agreement with In2Games for Revolutionary Gametrak™ Real World Golf for the PC and PlayStation®2

Mad Catz Interactive, Inc. (AMEX/TSX: MCZ), the world's leading third party video game accessory provider, today announced an exclusive international distribution agreement with In2Games, a software developer in the UK. Under the terms of the agreement, Mad Catz has been granted rights to distribute Gametrak™ Real World Golf to retailers in the UK, Ireland, France, Scandinavia, New Zealand, Australia and the PC market in Italy.

The patented Gametrak technology, first introduced in the UK last fall in the European fighting game, Dark Wind, was developed by In2Games. According to the makers of Gametrak, the Gametrakmotion tracking technology used in Real World Golf tracks the subtleties in players' movements as they swing the included golf club accessory, inserting the players' actual moves into the on-screen play in real-time, to within one millimeter of accuracy. Gametrak senses the height, speed and direction of a player's hands through form-fitting, fingerless gloves that attach to a Gametrak controller base via retractable tension cables. The game features six 18-hole courses and driving ranges that can be played in quick play, match play, championship and party game modes. Nine in-depth video tutorials help players improve their grip, swing and stance. Up to four players can play together in multiplayer mode.

"Real World Golf represents a revolution in game interactivity," said Darren Richardson President and CEO of Mad Catz. "This is another opportunity to leverage our access to the distribution channel and drive additional revenue streams."

"Without doubt Mad Catz is a leader in bringing mass-market, innovative products to market," commented In2Games MD Elliott Myers. "We are delighted to be working with them to make Gametrak a success."

Mad Catz plans to distribute the software and club accessory bundled with the Gametrak system. Real World Golf is expected to be available at leading retailers in August for a suggested retail price of £24.99. The Gametrak hardware is also available for a suggested retail price of £24.99. Real World Golf will be rated "E" for everyone by the ESRB, and is recommended for ages 8 and up.
