Publisher Dupuis and mobile game developer Overloaded launch Largo Winch - The Wireless Game

Dupuis (publisher of the printed cartoon strips Largo Winch and Overloaded | Fun Everywhere (leading developer and publisher of video games for mobile phones), have signed a deal for the development and exploitation of the well known cartoon strip and TV character Largo Winch on mobile phones. The first revolutionary mobile game Largo Winch will be available for download to mobile phones before February 2005 and available at operators and mobile portals around the world.

Largo Winch is a well-known international cartoon strip (http://www.largowinch.com) since 1990. Dupuis has developed already 13 Largo Winch titles and is continuously publishing new albums. The most recent album was released in June 2004 and the next album is expected by the end of 2005. Various spin-offs of the Largo Winch character has been marketed, e.g. TV series: Belgium (Kanaal 2 and RTL), The Netherlands (Net5), France (M6), and other European territories). Merchandising is also well developed (stationery, bags, phone cards, board games, etc...)
