Lago sets new milestone on its online development strategy, with the opening of three entirely new internet sites: www.lagosim.com, www.lagosim.com/shop and www.lagopublishing.com
The world of flight simulation is renewed on www.lagosim.com, with completely new graphics, developed to increase the site's usability both for the flight sim veterans and for the new comers and to give higher visibility to the new products and topics of the moment.
After studying and developing the high concept of community through the previous site (www.lagoonline.com), Videogame srl, the parent company of Lago, specialized in the internet business, is now taking a step further on this path by giving to the community the possibilty of being the real center of its flight simulation world.
This will be possible through a wide and fully integrated system that allows every single member of the community to share its opinion with all the other members: every forum post and topic, comment and message will be viewed, not only on the single dedicated area, but shared throughout the site in all the releted pages. This means that for the single product, the consumer will be able to access the product sheet and tech specs, the releted forums, the other user's opinions and comments and the professional journalists previews and reviews, all with a single click.
"This is a very big step further for us", says Mauro Dapit, head of the Videogame srl division. "We are proud to say that our customer satisfaction is the heart of all our development philosophy. This is why we decided to rebuild the site; to give both to our community and to our new users, the opportunity to feel that their opinion is truly heard. Needless to say that we still have to work a lot to reach this goal, but with the launch of the site, we have certainly made a first big step in this direction".
The shop at www.lagosim.com/shop has also been renewed with this view. The payment system has been improved and the product's search is now easier and faster, but what makes the shop even bigger now is the will to welcome on Lago's racks all the third party products. "With this project", says Sabina Mastropasqua, head of Sales at Lago, "we are keen to give all flight simmers a new point of reference to buy all their favourite produts, but also to give everybody the opportunity to exploit in the best way our highly visible international window".
Lago's community already counts more than 30.000 users from all over the world and today and is one of the biggest international fight simulation communities.
Lago's customers support recently won the AVSim Award as the number one worldwide customer support service : another great proof of how much the customer is important for Lago.
Lago will also exploit the launch momentum to go live with a new corporate site at www.lagopublishing.com, where all the flight simulation products are shown together with the entirely new multiplatform videogames area, launched this year with the release of the Christmas Italian top seller L'Eredità, based on the TV format El Legado and broadcasted everyday on the first national channel RaiUno.
