Los Angeles, CA. May 11th, 2000 -- Blue Byte Software, Inc. will be rolling out the red carpet for their distinguished guests during the Electronic Entertainment Expo as co-creators of Dragon’s Lair reunite at E3 in a rare appearance together to promote Dragon’s Lair 3D and disclose their roles in the development process of this latest version.
Dragon’s Lair 3D will be demonstrated to the media for the first time, since the product was announced at E3 last year. It is an enhanced version of the 80’s arcade classic that was the first animated video game. To aid with the development of many new features still being implemented by the Dragonstone team, Don Bluth has personally scripted and created an exclusive opening cinematic sequence for Dragon’s Lair 3D.
Bluth & Goldman who are currently wrapping up their Summer 2000 movie release of Titan AE, will be taking a day out of their tight schedule to promote Dragon’s Lair 3D. Bluth, Goldman & Dyer will be available for autographs, photos & interviews on May 12th, 2000, at Blue Byte Software’s booth #2408 in the West Hall. At which point, Bluth will reveal and explain more details of the cinematic. The original Dragon’s Lair has currently sold over 1,000,000 across all gaming formats, proving its popularity to a widespread audience.
