January 9 2002: Asylum Entertainment announces that it has re-launched its web site at www.asylum-entertainment.com, with the aim of drawing more attention to its current projects to potential new business partners.
The updated site has been extended to host a plethora of new features. Each past and forthcoming title now has a gallery of screenshots and work-in-progress artwork, and extensive information is given on plotlines and gameplay mechanics. The new site also gives Asylum the opportunity to showcase its new next-generation engine technology, and gives detailed descriptions of all the innovations that the team is making while developing this.
A brand new section of www.asylum-entertainment.com has been developed that is fully secure. This area has been designed with the company’s many business-to-business needs in mind. It is password protected for privileged access to information on Asylum’s many games under development.
Dave Colley, New Business Development Manager at Asylum Entertainment said, “We’re very pleased with the new features at www.asylum-entertainment.com. We were particularly keen to develop the corporate areas of the site, as we are currently looking to forge new relationships with publishers. Having a secure area means that we can invite potential new partners to view our WIP titles as we start to establish a dialogue with them. We already have an enviable reputation in the children’s licensed games market, but key to maintaining our strong growth is the development of our own intellectual properties in mainstream games. Curse: Eye of Isis has already been snapped up by Wanadoo Edition. Being able to conduct private viewings on our web site helps us to show new partners straight away how impressive our WIP titles are.”
The web site also has a less corporate new area to offer in the ‘What’s New at Asylum’ section. This is easy to navigate, with a splash page containing quick links to the latest news and features, plus information on the members of staff.
