Hype The Time Quest
A thrilling medieval adventure game featuring Playmobil Knights for your GameBoy Color.
LOS ANGELES (11 May 2000) Ubi Soft are proud to announce the emergence of PlayMobil Hype, The Time Quest for GameBoy Color. Developed by Planet, this action /adventure game is based on the popular Playmobil character Hype, a heroic medieval knight. Hype, champion of the Kingdom, has been defeated and humiliated by his terrible enemy, Barnak, the Black Knight, whilst attempting to save the realm from an evil curse. To make matters worse, the Black Knight casts a spell on Hype that sends him into the past. To regain the throne, return to his time and save his Kingdom, Hype must turn collect sacred objects and consult a mysterious alchemist Gogood to find the only way out!

Action-platform and adventure oriented with 2 different levels of difficulty at the beginning.
Hours of fun through 19 maps in 4 levels: from eerie spiders’ webs to the bubbling science laboratory.
Every level is composed of 3 action-platform maps, each hiding a sacred object and corresponding to a different time period.
4 Playmobil bosses must be conquered, including the Black Knight, before Hype can change level/time
Between each map, Hype finds himself in the Village (top view), where he can buy resources and weapons, or get help from Gogood the alchemist.
A “Ubi Key” level (opens a level in another Ubi GBC game).
Hype has a diverse range of actions to employ: from walking & running, jumping across ravines, squatting to reach secret places and enter secret levels, scaling walls.
Several enemy attack methods: attack with the impact of a mighty punch, an impressive medieval sword or take aim from behind cover with a lethal cross bow.
3 different magic spells : electricity, fire, ice...
Contains key role-playing-game elements such as chatting to village inhabitants to obtain information, to buy weapons or energy in the village
Particularly suitable for 6-10 year-olds and fans of PLAYMOBIL toys.
