London, May 2000, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe is pleased to announce the release of Grind Session the funky new skateboarding experience from SCEA and Sheba Games.

Designed to provide you with the exhilaration and intense action of reallife skate boarding, Grind Session combines the spirit and arcade-style action of extreme sports with the heart and soul of hard-core skateboarding.

Gamers will compete in Street and Tournament competitions, jump halfpipes, perform challenging tricks for skate magazine covers and feel the incredible sensation that only a true boarder can. This is a game for real skaters.

If you’re stoked on glory, throw down in tournament play and compete in tough Van’s Triple Crown competitions. Own the concrete as you pull off incredible trick combinations on gaps, ramps, half pipes, junked cars, bulldozers, picnic tables and way high rails. Play chicken with subway trains and crash through windows. Dominate sick verts that’ll challenge even the toughest skaters Fly-Q. Then pull off your best trick in high pressure 10 seconds long tech matches.

Grind Session delivers eight unique, action-packed freestyle 3D arenas and fully interactive environments featuring real skate park configurations. In multi-player mode, up to 6 players weigh in for tournaments, 10 seconds long technical battles and C.H.U.M.P. showdowns trying to match and better each other’s tricks.

Feel the exhilaration of hitting big-air, pulling off impossibles and riding the “concrete waves.” It’s a thrill unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. It’s all about you and your deck. It’s pure gratification.
