Red Dog is a high speed, mission based shoot ’em up set in the near future. As commander of the Red Dog Assault Vehicle your job is to engage and destroy the alien life force occupying Cian 4, the outermost planet of the New World system.
Red Dog has unbelievable lighting and sound effects. Enemy craft have cloaking devices and are seen as distortions in space. shape-shifting capabilities making them more versatile and challenging targets. This cloaking can also be used by the player, which is especially useful in multiplayer games for stealth attacks.
All throughout the game enemies will be attacking the player from unexpected areas. No attacks will be exactly the same, enemies will always attack in different ways.
Real world tank dynamics allowing the player to satisfyingly crush obstacles in the path. Amazing free roaming 3D game environment.
Fast paced action over battle torn landscapes, through highly populated areas and in and around huge enemy structures. Large number of very highly detailed enemy warcraft and alien environments. Real world tank dynamics allowing the player to satisfyingly crush obstacles in the path. Highly detailed player craft - Some enemy craft have shape-shifting capabilities making them more versatile and challenging targets. Powerful and extremely graphic weaponry for player and enemies. 14 weapons of destruction, with multiple power upgrades for supreme firepower.
Every destructive action produces debris which in-turn can cause damage to both player and enemy forces. Real time lighting effects created by distant suns and not so distant weapon blasts and explosions adding an extra level of atmosphere. Ear blasting sound effects and exciting musical score
There are fifteen challenging single player missions, and 20+ multiplayer arenas for up to 4 players. Including game play options such as:Deathmatch, Stealth Assassin, Flag Runner, Knockout, Bomb Tag, King of the Hill, Suicide.
New Multiplayer arenas and weapons can be downloaded on-line into the VMU for extended gameplay options.
