Milia is an unmissable event in Ubi Soft's calendar, as it is an opportunity to present new releases for 2001, and to highlight the Group's strengths and unique references: a portfolio of high quality games and major brands, as well as a position of leader on the new generation consoles.
The event also gives Ubi Soft the chance to meet partners and to forge new relationships with other players in the fields of entertainment and new technologies.
Ubi Soft will be unveiling four new games on its stand at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, in the Interactive Entertainment and Online Games section:
Walt Disney's The Jungle Book Groove Party, to be released in March 2001 on PlayStation2
F1 Racing Championship, published by Video System, also released in March 2001 on PlayStation2 and PC
Evil Twin: Cyprien's Chronicles, slated for release in April 2001 on PC, PlayStation2 and Dreamcast
Conflict Zone on Dreamcast and PC, to be released in April 2001
These games are an illustration of the depth of the Ubi Soft range, featuring titles that appeal to all types of gamers.
One of the critical strengths of the company is the range of titles available for PlayStation2. Flowing from the group's technological prowess and its significant investment in R&D, Ubi Soft is now poised to embark on the conquest of the PlayStation2 market, and currently has over 20 games in development for this format. Before the end of 2001, the group will therefore be in a position to offer a dozen titles, including such famous games as Rainbow Six and the new Rayman.
In a word, a very full programme… and one not to be missed!
