A lot of reboots? Not really. A lot of sequels? Yes. Now I'm not totally against the practice of the whole trilogy business plan that publishers seem to be quite comfortable with these days, especially if they end up as quality as Mass Effect or Dead Space (to name a few) did. My problem is that everyone seems to be quite keen to do it just for the financial potential and there's no guarantee that they'll be successful, even if you make a quality game (Darksiders, for example). I'm all for reboots IF you take creative risks and liberties while keeping some elements true to the original (i.e. Syndicate & XCOM). I can even be down with numerous instalments in a series, provided there's a legitimate point to creating one and there are creative risks being taken to push the envelope a bit more.

Only when you start going down the Call of Duty path do I start to raise concerns.
