Summary
Neil trained as graphic designer/illustrator and started his career working at Conran Design Group between1987 and 1989. He then moved to work freelance for Body Shop design dept. between 1989 1992, before setting up Stainless with co-founder Patrick Buckland in 1994. Stanless then gained commissions to develop the Carmageddon series. He says the reason he entered the games industry was to avoid having to get a real job.
Software Highlights from Credited Titles
Neil Barnden's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 1997 title, "Carmageddon" (PC) as Game Design.
Neil's most recent involvement was as Game Design on the 1998 release "Carmageddon 2" (PC).
