Gavin is a talented software engineer, with a keen interest in game design and programming. He has brought a wide range of skills to Pitbull since being employed as one of their XBox programmers.

Having worked at Reflections Interactive during the final year of Driv3r’s development, he has brought with him the experience of developing a large scale cross platform AAA title. At Reflections he worked on the implementation of the water effects, plus the maintenance and testing of the Game Code and Tools.

He is originally from New Zealand and graduated from the Massey University, Faculty of Science with a Bsc in April 2000.He lives with his wife, two Bengal cats, and two Great Danes here in Newcastle. He enjoys reading and would like to write a novel in the future.

Software Highlights from Credited Titles

Gavin Freyberg's first video game work that SPOnG is aware of is the 2003 title, "Driv3r" (PS2) as Programmer. Of the titles listing Gavin within the credits , "Driv3r" (PS2) and "Driv3r" (Xbox) have been best selling titles.

Gavin's most recent involvement was as Programmer on the 2005 release "Driv3r" (PC).
