In a turn-up for the books in terms of game development it can be revealed today that... Witcher 3: Wild Hunt won't be delayed again.
Yes, it's pre-E3 and Microsoft has already announced the Kinect-free Xbox One; Sony is so skint that it won't be announcing much new; and Nintendo is starting to sell toys and health equipment. So, CD Projekt's statement (to follow, along with a trailer) that the game it's been working on for years will still come out in February 2015 is
Company co-founder Marcin Iwinski, told Eurogamer
that, "This is not our first game; we are not newbies.
"It's not like 'hey we are delaying and we'll keep on delaying'. If we would think we need more time we would say 'hey we'll release it not in Feb but, I don't know, June'. We made the decision at the moment we were able to judge how much time we needed, and we planned it well and it works well for us. So, no more delays."
So, yup, game that was coming out in February is still coming out in February.
