Square Enix has confirmed that the PS3 and Vita versions of Final Fantasy X HD and Final Fantasy X-2 HD will feature cross-saving support. You'll be able to start a game on your PS3, and continue where you left off on your Vita and vice versa, using cross-saves. The games are unlikely to feature cross-buy, a service on PSN that offers both PS3 and Vita versions for the same price, because of the way the games are packaged for each platform. FFX HD and FFX-2 HD come on the same Blu-ray disc on PS3, whereas on Vita the two are sold separately.
Final Fantasy director Yoshinori Kitase confirmed the feature at the Japan Expo in Paris.
