This is the work of a game-crazy DIY crew called Team Roll Up the Cosmos. As detailed in the video below, the group uses two optical mice, a hacked-apart PlayStation controller, an Arduino and a yoga ball to create a 'life-size' Katamari ball to roll around in order to play the game.
Of course, the yoga ball is set in industrial casters, so you can roll the ball as much as you like without it traveling across the room. The result is a totally interactive Katamari experience. Watch the video below, it's incredible. We want one for the office.
