Lightning Returns looks like a pretty good finale for the Final Fantasy XIII series, all things considered. So Square Enix has decided to do some fans a favour and offer an early showcase of the gameplay that press will get to go hands-on with when the doors to E3 open tomorrow.
The game features a lot of lead character Lightning, as she tries to track down fellow FFXIII protagonist Snow. It seems that the relationship between the two characters has turned rather sour, with Lightning seeking to fight Snow for one reason or another.
It's all tied to the end of the world and all that usual apocalyptic nonsense. Should be quite gripping though. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII is heading for a European release on February 14.
