Square Enix released a new trailer for the upcoming Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, and it looks just as visually stunning and yet confusing as the other games in the mini-series.
You can watch it below - it contains a lot of gameplay, including battle sequences and exploration in expansive towns. It all looks very nice, and the time-limit system that Lightning is playing to seems like a nice extension of an idea pioneered by The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
Still not quite sure what the deal is with the story, though. I mean, I understand the words - the people in the trailer are clearly speaking English - but it's left us in a state of wonder as to what is going on. Guess that's the beauty of Final Fantasy games, right? What do you think?
