A Western company called Nosotek that has offices in North Korea's capital Pyonyang has developed what it is claiming is the first video game to come from that pariah nation.Called
Pyonyang Racer the title "was developed in the DPRK and commissioned by Koryo, the leading Western tour agency for trips into North Korea". It is a driving title playable online. Chinese blog,
Beijing Cream says that:
"Players race around the “city of willows” collecting barrels of fuel and avoiding obstacles such as cars. (True to the Pyongyang I visited last summer, there are few vehicles and very, very clean roads.)"
Bear in mind though, that the game makers say:
"Special note: In actual North Korea, you may have more difficulty with such driving, or driving around in general, since the capital city may have traffic wardens on every corner, but is not known for traffic congestion."More over at
