EA Sports hasn't quite decided what form the next UEFA Euro football game will take, SPOnG has learned.
UEFA Euro 2012 was released on digital platforms earlier this year, rather than the traditional boxed format. EA Sports VP Northern Europe, Keith Ramsdale, told SPOnG at the Golden Joystick Awards that the company isn't sure if digital distribution is the future for the series.
"I can't really answer [the status of future UEFA Euro titles] for obvious reasons," Ramsdale said. "We take the most obvious route as we can, to get the game to the public. I can't answer for the next Euro game because it's a fluid decision. What we did on Euro this year isn’t necessarily what we’ll do on future iterations."
