Army of Two: The Cartel is currently being presented at EA's press conference, and it was shown to be using DICE's Frostbite engine - the same that powers Battlefield.
The use of the tech engine makes sense, given the dusty locales and the constant stream of explosions. In this long-awaited sequel, you take control of two new operatives as you try to step in the middle of a Mexican drug war. As you plough through this third-person action game, you'll be awarded money for kills, with bonuses for partner kills as well as a devastating overkill mode.
The game will arrive on March 2013 on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
