Just when you thought that there couldn't be less imagination in terms of concepts for fighty video games... we get a game based on a 1982 movie set in a theatre of war that ceased to be a theatre of war in 1974. Yes, Rambo First Blood is coming to console and PC.
Look, as we've not seen the game at all yet it's a bit harsh to judge it. It's impossible to judge it based on the trailer below because that just contains scenes from the terrible 1982 movie starring Slyvester Stallone and a myriad of racial stereotypes. Judge for yourself:
Reef Entertainment Commercial Director Craig Lewis poitns out that, "‘We have been quiet since we acquired the Rambo license last August. During this time we have been dedicated to creating a videogame for consoles and PC that will allow Rambo fans and gamers across the globe to really get under the skin of Rambo and wield his iconic weapon-set in battle."
The game is playable at gamescom gods help us all.
