Microsoft Pushing Kinect Star Wars to Fans This Weekend
Poor Kinect Star Wars. After getting a massive kicking by game critics and fans alike, it seems that it can't even get the date right. Microsoft is holding a couple of events to show off the game at Star Wars fan events this weekend - May 5th and May 6th - but has run a press release with the catchphrase, "May the Fourth Be With You." Oh, Microsoft.

One Star Wars fan event is being held at the iconic Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire, where the movies were filmed, on Saturday 5th May. Empire Strikes Back producer Gary Kurtz will host, along with Kenny Baker (R2-D2), Dave Prowse (Darth Vader), John Morton (Boba Fett). It'll run from 9am to 6pm.

The other event is at the National Space Centre in Leicester, which will run between Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th May from 10am to 5pm. Star Wars cast members, costume character appearances and hands on with Kinect Star Wars will be order of the day here.

now I don't claim to be a marketing expert, but I'm pretty sure no amount of pushing is going to help sell a (from what I hear) broken game.
