Picture the scene. You've developed a spin-off game from a well-loved series that gamers are feeling a little non-plussed about. It's a fun little affair, admittedly, but you feel the need to spread the word about the game. What do you do?
Well, if you're Criterion Games, you hire David Hasselhoff and stick him in a chicken-themed superhero outfit to show off Burnout Crash.
Yes, it is a mental as it sounds. In a bid to show off the Kinect controls on its latest XBLA release, Criterion have The Hoff playing along with the more deranged aspects of his character, crouching as if he's doing a poo and making an ice-cream van explode. Watch the video, it makes more sense. Not much more, admittedly, but a little.
Now if that doesn't get you to buy Burnout Crash, what will?
