The owner of long-living franchise Castlevania, Konami, is due to launch a Facebook application as a tie-in with the release of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow later this week.
The Facebook game will have players either swear allegiance to the God Mask of the Brotherhood of Light or the Devil Mask of the Lords of Shadow, after which they will then be able to duke it out with or against friends and other players in a virtual arena.
Players will be able to gain experience and virally recruit allies to their army in the Facebook tie-in. This will allow them to consequently unlock videos, screens and special items from Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
