It's Sonic the Hedgehog's birthday! Happy birthday Sonic! He's 19 today, you know. Old bugger. To celebrate, Sega is offering a bunch of discounts on its lineup of digitally distributed Sonic content.
On Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade, the Mega Drive re-releases have all been slashed to 240 Points from its standard 400. Sony's PlayStation Store will be having so many discounts it's futile to list them all here, so we'll point you to the Sega blog post instead.
Next year will be Sonic's 20th Anniversary. Wonder what Sega will have planned for then?

Sadly, very few Sonic games (save the GBA/DS 2D ones) have been woefully lame.
