Bungie's trademark filing activities continue today as the recently unchained studio has applied for a new registration of the 'Marathon' name.
Marathon, for those that aren't up on their Bungie, was the first-person Doom-esque space shooter released in 1994 for the Apple Power Mac. It gained a huge cult following among Macintosh users that helped raise the profile of its 2001 shooter, Halo: Combat Evolved. And we all know what happened next.
