EA Returns Fire at Former Staffer's Tirade

Mr Lasky.
Mr Lasky.
Electronic Arts has hit back at criticism by former senior executive, Mitch Lasky, that the company is losing the plot.

"Mitch needs to try de-caf. It’s never easy being turned down for a job, but most people don’t spend three years obsessing about it", comments Jeff Brown, head of corporate communications.

"Since Mitch left EA, Apple invented the iPhone, Facebook evolved to include a gaming platform and EAMobile became the world leader."

The implication - at least to VentureBeat - is that "Lasky wanted the job that went to John Riccitiello, hired as chief executive of EA in 2007."

We're sure the saga will continue.
