There's something elegant and so right about a spoof rock band bringing its music to a video game that lets people pretend to be in a rock band. So, the fact that a Spinal Tap four pack is joining the Rock Band store on June 16th is a lovely thing.
Three of the four Spinal Tap tracks (Back from the Dead, Rock ‘n’ Roll Nightmare and Warmer Than Hell) from the new tap album, Back From The Dead will ready for everybody to pretend to play along with for shits and giggles!
Also available will be a David St. Hubbins' solo piece, Saucy Jack - about Jack the Ripper.
Quote of the week goes to Tap's Derek Smalls, "Tap has always gone where the audience is. We hope this time the audience reciprocates. Whatever that means."
For those who love not-so-rock music, "Grammy Award-winning rockers Evanescence also make their Rock Band debut next week with a three pack of the band’s greatest hits. Bring Me to Life from the band’s 2004 multi-platinum debut album, Fallen, Call Me When You’re Sober and Weight of the World... will also be available", we're told.
