Final Fantasy XIII producer, Yoshinori Kitase, has asked a very, very salient question regarding the development of the game for Xbox 360. This comes from him being asked by whether the full Japanese language version will be available.
"Obviously, when we talk about XIII it’s for PS3 and Xbox - with PS3 being on Blu-ray there would be enough memory, but on Xbox probably not.
"At the moment we're thinking of releasing the voice in English only. Are there many people who would like to play with Japanese voices?"
From SPOnG's point of view (well, point of hear) we always play any Japanese game with Japanese voices and English subtitles on to save our ears from the dreadful 'Somewhere in America, we're not sure but it's vaguely cute Englishesque' voices.

I've never had a problem with the voices in Final Fantasy plus I hate subtitles I can't read that f**kin' fast

I can't stand the voices. I even play PES with French commentary because I can't abide the English commentators...
And now I am going to say something that will get me guffawed and "That's so gayed" out of video gaming forever... it's like listening to opera sung in English.... even English opera.
