It would seem that money-minded folk are whispering that Apple might be turning its attention towards Electronic Arts.
Guy Adami, managing director of Drakon Capital, reportedly said on CNBC's Fast Money show that "there is chatter that Apple is eyeing Electronic Arts as a takeover target."

One of the biggest mac gaming supporter being eyed up by a company that is clearly becoming more and more interested in gaming, and whose hardware it commonly faulted by having poor games.
I can't say id be surprised but I'm certainly sceptical.

Of course, there is plenty of history uniting the two companies as well. However, the past is a foreign country etc (and so on). This news strikes me as "WTF would Apple want EA?" and "WTF would EA want to be owned by Apple?" They're both doing reasonably well in their own fields right now.
