Peter Wanat, the game designer behind the likes of
Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay and the upcoming
Wanted, has gone on a sweary rant about the merits of the Wii.
He
said that, in comparison to the PS3 and Xbox 360, the Wii is a "f**king Genesis (Mega Drive)".
Furthermore, he said that Wii users are "little kids and old people" and "hardcore Nintendo fanboys" who like games with "crappy graphics and basic control play".
While he praised Nintendo's business savvy, he also stated that third-party developers can't spend more than $300k-$500k on a Wii title because their sales are so poor on the machine.
