Summary

The Yu-Gi-Oh series finally makes its mark on the Nintendo Wii, with Master of the Cards offering an intense trading card game simulation that will realise all of the intense battles you see in the animation. With the Wii Remote you can perform fantastical actions and summon mythical beasts as if it were happening right there in your living room.

So what’s the story? Master of the Cards sets itself firmly within the current 5D’s canon, with the sinister Surtr planning another attempt to destroy the world. This time, it is under the guise of a trading card tournament, with Surtr inviting duelists to Ragnarok Island to compete in the ultimate showdown. Fight with Yusei and his friends to uncover a plot that threatens the world as we know it!

Based on the new Dark Signers television episodes, the Story Mode is ever bit as faithful to the anime as can be. As you progress through the Story, you can fight against any opponent in the Free Duel Mode, or tackle real-life enemies in the Wi-Fi Duel Mode using the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Over 4,500 virtual cards can be used to form your deck, including the Ancient Prophecy, Stardust Overdrive and Star Strike Blast boosters.

With downloadable content to keep the game going and a collection of three limited edition Yu-Gi-Oh! trading cards inside the box, there’s every reason to grab a copy and start playing with your deck!
