Summary

Fitness Games are a firm favourite with Wii owners, and My Fitness Coach already has its fans. The series has already had an outing in the form of My Fitness Coach: Get in Shape. Cardiovascular, or CV workout is the thing people often do at the gym before they move on to the weights. But it's more than just a warm up, CV workouts are important for general fitness and weight loss. CV work gets the heart rate up to between 60 and 80% of its maximum, and keeps it there for at least one minute. Another word for it is aerobic training, and typically CV is used for training using the machines at the gym, and aerobics for floor work.

MFC: Cardio takes its cues from the world of boxing, and has players doing squats and punching routines. There are five program levels for users of differing fitness, and 10 different exercise programs to keep things fresh and keep you coming back. The program keeps track of your progress with a host of calendars and charts to give an easy to understand visual record of your fitness.

Fitness tips are given by a customisable characters, who can be kitted out with new clothes and equipment as they are unlocked by performing well in training routines. << less
