Summary

December 7, 1941: a sneak attack by the Imperial Japanese Navy annihilates our military instillations at Pearl Harbor. Over three thousand American servicemen are lost, some trapped aboard burning ships that sink while still attached to their moorings. It is a day that will live in infamy for many reasons, the least of which being it is the precise moment when a conflict in western Europe and a bloody imperial expansion in southeast Asia suddenly grow to be a true world war.

It is also a day marked by great moments of personal courage and sacrifice. The award-winning Medal of Honor series moves to the Pacific Theater of Operations for the first time in a dramatic fashion - with players not fighting the enemy on the ground, but rather taking to the sky in command of some of the greatest fighter aircraft ever built.

Created by the writer and producer of the original Medal of Honor, Fighter Command continues the tradition of recreating the experience of intense WWII combat, but this time the battle is fought in the air. Extensive hands-on research with the actual planes of the era and consultation with the pilots who flew them delivers the authentic sights and sounds of the flight combat experience, immersing the player into a world they've only read about in books or seen in movies.

Most importantly, like previous games in the MOH series, Fighter Command is designed to be accessible to even the most novice player. A robust set of pilot-assistance options will allow players to customise their gaming experience, from extensive targeting aids to an auto-landing feature. Combined with a storyline that mirrors the epic scope of the war in the South Pacific, Fighter Command takes the Medal of Honor franchise to new heights-literally!
