oh yea... EA knows BUNGIE rules!

My Master Chief brings all the boys to the floor... and damn right it better than yours! (sorry i had to... im so ashamed of myself right now)

i dont think anything in this article is particularly suprising or in need of any further discusion... i like to assume we have all agree to no longer buy and EA games untill they change their ways... am i right?

also the pathetic colaboration of EA and Disney is fantastic... they deserve each other. Also EA will not be making any pixar games as they are wisely taking there leaves from disney's oversight.

"It's the subtleties, the eyes, the mouth - 5,000 polygons doesn't really sell the emotion". This guy is just so full of s**t.

Also, when was the last time anyone you know queued outside a shop to buy an EA game at midnight? In fact, when was the last time a shop opened at midnight specifically for an EA game release?

Nobody queues for EA games, because nobody wants to play EA games that much. I'm not saying EA games are crap, I'm just saying they don't set the world alight. They clearly sell to millions, but of those millions, there can't be many that want to play another FIFA update as soon as the game arrives in the shop.

People will, however, queue to play the latest Half-Life, GTA, Halo, Mario, Metal Gear, Gran Turismo because they know they will get something special. Something that hasn't been forced through development by marketting execs in order to reach the shelves on time and maximise profits.

Oh, and you know there won't be a shortage of EA games because you can barely enter a branch of Game these days for all the stands bristling with copies of FIFA, Need For Speed and other EA products.

F**k them.

I don't buy EA games anyway.

Last EA game I bought was in 1998.

Says something about quantity over quality.

I have to admit, I was very anxious about SSX 3 and Def Jam - Fight For NY. I don't know if I'd wait outside in the nipple hardening weather like I did for Princess Tomato And The Salad Kingdom but I could get excited for a new SSX. It's really the most fun snowboarding game out there. If only 1080 was good this time around. After hearing the NEW NEW news of EA's 15 year NBA/ESPN contract, I think I may have to as well ban EA games as well. Not just buying them, but playing them as well. And it kind of sucks, not like missing a Dave Matthews concert because your friend had to pick up his new truck sucks, more like Facts of Life reunion sucks.

I have to disagree, I hate any kind of sports game as a rule. I've never bought a sports game before. Yet I'm totally hooked on 1080 Avalanche - I think it's amazing.

Sorry about the echo, my College's computers block areas of Spong, and I was trying to get around them.

Have you played SSX3, or Tricky, or SSX the original for that matter? It blows 1080 out of the water. Avalanche isn't a bad game, just compared to SSX in my opinion.

No, I must admit I haven't.

From what I've read people have commented that SSX and Avalanche are just different, some people prefer one and some people prefer the other.

Cauterize rock.

They are different, control wise and gameplay wise somewhat. But SSX does has better graphics, more character personality, and I believe more innovation. They are still both snowboarding games.

wise ass to the end... 1080 is a much more realistic (without being to boring) snow boarding game. the controls are good and tight and its alot fo fun to play... ssx3 is a rediculously stylized snow boarding game with air vents that fling you a hundred feet in the air and mile long rails to slide on and just plain old rediculousness. i prefer ssx as the best part about videgames for me is doing things you would not be able to do in real life. as for it being a btter game i woudl have to disagree... all 3 ssx's are very glitchy... lots of places to get stuck... screw up coming of the lips of certain jumps... grinding on rails upsidedown? overall they are kinda of poorly play tested. ssx3 also lost alot of the charcter that made tricky so much fun. If you want to give it a shot i recomend tricky over the other two. despite its short commings i have played it for more hours than i care to think about.

It all comes down to fun factor in the end. Amped is more realistic than all of them and it's not very fun. So I win, or rather SSX wins, despite all it's shortcomings.

but its entierly possible soem people thing realistic is fun... there is a reason they sell mor ecopies of madden than they do nfl hitz! (allthough quality is heavily to blame on that one) my point was for overal quality 1080 is a better game... as to which one is more fun.. thats subjective... and you cant really guage by sales as 1080 was only on the cube.
