If you played the smash hit game The Sims you may have noticed that, without meaning to sound cruel, they were a bit dull. Now please understand, when we say dull, we refer only to the Sims themselves, not the game which was as addictive as it was groundbreakingly innovative.
The developers over at Electronic Arts have decided to spice up the lives of your little minions by releasing The Sims House Party Pack add-on. The pack will include three new architecture models, to allow the player to such construct parties as barn dances, Hawaiian Luaus, or full on warehouse rave parties.
You will be able to design and build a dance floor, and set up a DJ. The Sims will slowly get into the swing, increasing their dance moves as they become more accustomed to the tunes. You will also be expected to organise all the Sims’ catering requirements, providing them with a buffet table and a punch bowl. There will also be such attractions as giant novelty cakes and mechanical bulls to get the party swinging.
“Just like real people, The Sims are social creatures, but it has always been difficult for them to get together and party,” said Lucy Bradshaw, General Manager of EA’s Maxis studio. “This new expansion pack pumps up the fun of watching and controlling your Sims in a group dynamic.”
