TOCA Race Driver 3 finally ‘hits the streets today’ as they say in the land of high-powered PR lunches. In reality this means that a local games store near to you will most probably have it in stock for you to buy if you want to.
And, in SPOnG’s opinion, you should really want to. If you don’t know why and haven’t heard much or seen anything much on the game so far, then we really urge you to download the new PC multiplayer demo which Britsoft 'Darlings' Codemasters have just unleashed (uploaded) here.
The new TOCA Race Driver 3 demo lets you take the PC edition online with up to 12 simultaneous players, featuring Mercedes C-Klasse cars in a heavyweight DTM race at Hockenheim, Racing Renault Clios in the Autosport Clio Cup at Brands Hatch or a stock car event with Dodge Chargers at Indianapolis.
SPOnG has already marveled at the amount of online and offline racing content that's crammed in TOCA Race Driver 3, which features a mind-boggling 120+ championships and 35 different motorsport disciplines.
Essentially if you are a fan of driving games we would advise you to not even bother wasting your time downloading this demo and instead get straight down to your nearest videogame retailer to buy a copy before they sell out.
It’s really hard to see how Gavin Raeburn and his tremendous TOCA team can improve on TOCA Race Driver 3. Buy it, play it and you will see what we mean.
